FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Who is required to tryout?
- All incoming and returning players will be required to tryout. Returners are not guaranteed a position on the Spring roster.
- All players will need their completed physical and emergency card. Players should be dressed in athletic attire and shoes. Water fountains will not be operating at the facility, and players should bring their own water bottles.
- It is not mandatory to attend all days of the tryout, however it is recommended as it gives coaches a better idea of your overall skill.
- The Summer Tryout is being held at the beginning of summer and the players who make the team will be added to the official Spring roster. The Final Tryout is open to all returning and new players who did not make the team based on the Summer Tryout. Students who tried out at the Summer Tryout are more than welcome to tryout again at the Final Tryouts. The Final Tryout will be the last time students can tryout out to make it on the Spring Roster.
- No specific number of players will be chosen at the Summer Tryouts. However, we will be looking to fill at least 60% of the program roster at this tryout. This means that the Final Tryout will be much more competitive as there will be very limited spots on each team. There is a possibility that no additional players will be added from the Final Tryout as well.
- There is no specific number of players being chosen for the team. Typically rosters for each team will range from 12-15 players. There will be two teams: Junior Varsity and Varsity.
- No. Students who do not have a physical with a doctor's signature/stamp will not be allowed to tryout. Students will need a current Emergency Card and Physical to be allowed to tryout. No exceptions will be made.
